One of the goals of Casa dos Sonhos is to use only non-fossil energy. In the Alentejo, the sun makes this possible.
In this workshop, off-grid and hybrid solar systems are designed, prepared and serviced for homes, farms, holiday retreats and small businesses that want reliable, independent energy. Inverters, charge controllers and batteries are assembled and tested here before they are installed.
Every system is planned for the property it serves, built with long-lasting components and made easy to monitor and maintain.
Energy independence is not a luxury in rural Portugal: it is often the only way to live and work far from the grid. Knowing how to build and repair these systems locally keeps that independence within reach.
